Springtime does not just bring warm weather and pretty flowers; it can also irritate your allergies. If you are allergic to pollen, you can experience watery eyes, a runny nose and an itchy throat. Keep the Windows Closed

Wear a Mask While Doing Yard Work

In the springtime, there is usually is a lot of work to do in the yard including pruning dead branches, planting flowers and cleaning up walkways. Eat Apples

Take a Hot Shower

When your allergies get worse, you can feel really congested. One of the best ways to relieve some of that congestion is to take a hot shower. Just stand in the shower stall and let the hot water clear your sinuses. 

Keep Your Home Clean

In the springtime, it is especially important to keep your home clean. If you properly clean your house, you can reduce the amount of pollen in the air. For example, make sure to vacuum your carpeting a couple of times a week and wash your bed sheets once a week. If you have a dog, do not allow him to climb on your bed or furniture.
